hats off to King he accomplished an incredible amount in his long tenure. it was always special playing against oakland because you knew they would bring it. even if you matched their intensity they would still usually have the upper hand at the end

(or surprise the world and come to riverdale)

The title of this thread does the man a great disservice. Retiring from a successful career should not be labeled as quitting.

I believe, at the most, RK will be out a year. His juices are still flowing and he has a lot more to do in life unless his health is bad. Maybe a venture in anther area is possible but what ever he does his legacy tells who he is, how he's prepared for everything he's done and Randy Smith has not changed. He's already got it planned out. Thats his MOO, that's the way he operates and he will be a success. An old Patriot never changes.
