coltsrule
Please post Shelbyville won 8-7 on a 2-out bases loaded single up the middle in the bottom of the 8th inning by Shelby Lamb. Tullahoma'a starting pitcher had to leave the game in the bottom of the 8th after being hit by a line drive off the bat of Kayla Warren. It was a good game, but the time of game was two hours and 33 minutes. Yikes! I hope the young lady from Tullahoma is OK.

Proverbial
Unbelievable...talk about some nasty luck. --Senior pitcher Renea Shirley goes out with a broken hand. --Number two pitcher Hannah Sircy, a talented freshman who was the starting shortstop, strained a quad in pre-season and re-injured it in the season opener against Franklin County and hasn't been able to play or pitch since. --Freshman Brooklyn Boehm, who was slated to share JV duties with a sophomore, has really stepped up and done a good job keeping the team in games, but now she's injured. Hang in there ladies. It's a long time until the tournament, and this young team will get a lot better by then. Keep your heads up and play hard. Proverbial
What happened to the pitcher that got hit during the Shelbyville/Tullahoma game? Is it a serious injury? Don't know. A poster above said they thought it was a sprain. I'm sure she'll see a doctor today to find out for sure.
catspaw2
What happened to the pitcher that got hit during the Shelbyville/Tullahoma game? Is it a serious injury? Our worst fears were comfirmed today. Our Freshman pitcher that caught a line drive with her Glove hand has a Broken Thumb. She was doing a GREAT job being thrown into the fire to!! Keep both these young ladies in your prayers and the Team will continue to fight on.
