Powell beat West 9-1 tonight. They will be the 2 seed.

Former Cocke County coach Casey Taylor has done a remarkable job with Clinton this year. Shoud be the Coach of the Year. Not sure but think that they are 3.

Hardin Valley plays Campbell County tonight in their final district game. Each of the teams have one district win. Campbell Cty beat Hardin Valley for their only win and Hardin Valley has a win over Karns. So, tonight's game will determine who is 8th in district and who is in last place. The winner of tonight's game will host the play in game between the same two teams on Thursday evening with the winner advancing into the district tourney.

That stinks that these 2 teams can't have a chance in the real tourny. But i guess this is part of it even though the loser doesnt have another chance since the tournament is double elimination

If PHATCAT is correct and the Dragons are 3rd then Casey Taylor should be the Coach of the Year. Cocke County baseball would love to have Coach Taylor back.

Campbell Co. beat Hardin Valley last night 8 -7 and will now host HV on Thursday to see who gets in the tourny.

 

Maybe, just maybe, CC can keep their coach for more than 1 year and he can try to build the program!
