On another thread "Catchers" we wuz talkin about the catchers from Wilson Central and Beech. It was said that the WC catcher was going to Lee University (I think), and I asked where the catcher from Beech wuz going and no one has replied. While treking around these threads I saw where you said the Bucs played in KY.

 

Where is the catcher for Beech going in college and someone said she had been sick prior to the WC game.

I thought the catcher from WC was going to UT Martin???? Not sure on that but have heard

No. I do believe some WC folks on the "Catchers" thread that said the pitcher is going to U.T. Martin and the catcher is going to Lee.

Wow. She is a fine player. Is it tooooo early for her to be selecting a future school cuz she looks good. Some said she wuz hurt or sick at the WC game. Is it a season threatening injury cuz that would be a tough un to lose for dat Beech team? /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
