BTW -- Skeen once sent an assistant out to make a pitching change, but he left the kid in. The assistant tells Skeen, "he says he can get 'em out". Next pitch is a two-run double off the wall. Skeen never looks up, but says so everyone in the dugout can hear, "did he say when"?
