Young teams

Independence has 4 freshmen starters and 5 freshmen and 4 sophmores on the 16 man roster, anybody younger than that?

I am pretty sure that Maryville and CAK are pretty young. I don't know exactly what year all their starters are but I do know that they have some young players. Correct me if i'm wrong G and Ned. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Boyd does not have as many freshmen and sophomores as teams like McCallie and Baylor but they have a lot of Juniors on the team. I believe all but 1 player on defense will return next year to a team that up until now has only given up 2 goals all season. Goalie returns as well. The younger players have got good playing time and will be ready to step up as well. But this year isn't over yet, so hopefully we still got alot to look forward to with this team.

Well, we do have SOME young players (2 eighth graders and 3 freshmen) no sophomores, 4 juniors and 9 seniors. So depending on how you look at it, we probably have the "youngest" team (but I don't think this is what the thread had in mind?) /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Dyersburg has 9 freshman 4 are starters and 2 come off the bench early. Also 3 sophomores. 1 starter.

Bearden has 7 sophomores and 5 or 6 Juniors that play quite a bit of varsity. Not incredibly young but not real old either.

Beech starts 9 freshmen and sophomores, no juniors and 2 seniors.

Riverdale starts at least 4 freshmen every game and they have 3 or 4 who come off of the bench. They only have 2 seniors on the entire varsity squad.
