840 Ladies losses to Beech again

What can I say they forgot to tell Beech how good they were! You are losing games, coaches and what will be next 840 folks? /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

 

If you is a doctor...I is needin one. This was not a good night for my WC. And, I saw what it looked like was a coach conceding a game long before the game was concluded. I saw buntin down by 5,6 and 7 runs. That ain't no strategy...that is just hopin we don't strike out. And, after da game I heard da worst news. Beech had several starters not there for whatever reason and started young players in their place.

 

Now, I don't know if dat is true. But if it is...things ain't pretty cuz it was a complete disaster and we wuz dominated in a way I have never seen in tha last 5 years.

 

The game was not as close as the score indicates...and I is goin to bed. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

No, you heard right, their Senior second baseman and Junior center fielder are in California for a National Deca competitions. So in their place tonight were two Freshmen. So maybe their bench is deeper than Coachcap gave them credit for. Don't matter if they got players from Friendship...they won the game in every way, poor playing, players giving up, and then topping it off, your right Niceguy, Coach gave it up too...Don't know how they are gonna be successful by playin the " juniors and seniors have put their time in" game, and not always have the best nine players on the field!

We just got beat and thats that !

Well you see "Birdie" made me tell you all this because sometimes I do kind of make a mistake and everybody wants to make fun of "MrNoitAll" and then know one wants to shout out when I am right so I just thought why not remind people why I am "MrNoitAll" because I am way more right than wrong! /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

Me and NiceGuy can take what we dish out..... but it is finally good to see CoachT has us rated #14 and gettin a little bit of respect, and thats all we deserve right now...tell "Birdie, dont give up on them 840 ladies, we aint done yet"! We'll go far as we can and still be happy with what we did....Mr Noitall, not everything thats in print is correct even if it is on T$$AA link....or site....they be wrong sometimes.........

      Jada Hart, Jasmine Bailey and Kaitlyn Patterson the first two being PG's are all good guards and can handle ball pressure and are good players. Raven Wells will be a good post. There were games this summer where any one of the one's I mentioned were in double figures. Gibson County will control TO's much better this year and they will press more and get back to playing faster. AA is down across the board. I have been all over watching ball. Alcoa jumped to AAA and Jackson County moved down. to A. No telling who wins it this year. I agree Union City, Westview and Gibson County will be a dogfight and must see basketball. Poster insuated that Gibson County has a mental block against Westview. Well give me Maddie Gray and we line up last year and they wouldn't have won a game. Let's see how Westview does this year. Their starting five last year had three transfers in it. Rogers from Obion, Trevathon from Greenfield and Gray from South Fulton. Looks like they swung and missed with the girl from Florida this year so let's see how they do playing with kids from Westview. Gibson County has a really good 7th grade class this year.I have done learned you play with what you got and work them hard and develop them and see what happens. Just keep battling and see what happens. I like our team this year. Very athletic. Every year is the same with injuries and can be catistrophic to any. I watched GC all summer long. South Side and GC was very evenly matched and was a classic war.We had some quality wins this summer. Beat Huntingdon, Henry County, Bowling Green, Liitle Rock Central as well as a couple other quality Kentucky Teams. Westview's talent pool may not be what it has been without transfers the next few.

      I think Gibson County is a top five team this next season but I do agree they will drop off a lot after this year.  Westview lost a ton and will be down this season and hopes of returning to glass house again is slim.  The run they have had is super impressive!

      My take on GC for this year: Based on what I saw last year and heard this summer, I’m not sure GC could surprise me next year with any outcome. Wilkins is a great coach - they could win the district and region and go to Murfreesboro. They could also come in third in the district and not get out of region. The two returning starters are very talented but Guru is right that they didn’t always play hard last year. The other three starters are good enough in their roles for GC to be successful. There is no depth. Foul trouble could be a problem - Wilkins may avoid it by playing a lot of zone. An injury would be catastrophic. I hope they have a big year and Wilkins rides off into the sunset in Murfreesboro because, without some significant transfers, there are some tough years coming in the next few.

      Daniel Boone coming down to 3A makes this much tougher. They added a couple transfers to the Flores girl. Cocke Co, Northview, Greeneville, and Daniel Boone - only two headed to Murfreesboro.
