South Pittsburg out hit the Indians but walks and hit batsmen by the Pirate pitching staff proved costly. Game 2 of the night went to #3 Marion County as Austin Layne threw a 1 hitter and struck out 15. Cagle threw the final 5 innings for #2 Bledsoe picking up 14 K's and allowing no hits. Marion pushed the winning run across in the top of the 7th on an walk, stolen base, error by the catcher, and an error by the 2nd baseman, all with 2 outs. Final score Marion 3 Bledsoe 2. Todays 1st game will pair Sequatchie County against #1 seed Grundy County @ 4:30. The late game will be an elimination game between South Pittsburg and Bledsoe County @ 6:30.
