TBALLEXPERT
It is very apparent that you missed my point. I did not say that it is ALL about FUN. I just said its not ALL about EXPOSURE or that the ONLY way to get better is play ALL ASA. We got off the point of the thread because you started the mudslinging about playing any tourneys except ALL ASA. Also, I was not talking about the money you spend on just nationals, it was traveling to only ASA tourneys..Your points about playing ALL ASA were not justified in my opinion, soooooo, I guess you got a little touchy. Playing ASA does help you get better, but ultimately the athletes get better by preparation and dedication. Winning is a reward for that dedication. Competetive softball is supposed to be SERIOUS and FUN. It has to be fun for the athletes or they would not put in the time it takes to be the best they can be. Aso, why not play in ASA nationals at the younger ages,if in your opinion, that's the only way to get better? In conclusion, I do not think they would let us play Dixie Youth. I was not mud slinging. Just stating a fact, playing usfa or usssa or usgfp or nsa all season then jumping into the ASA state tourney doesn't seem like a recipe for success in ASA. I also just pointed out that ASA offers the player somthing extra (eposure to college coaches) when at the older levels that the other either offer none or very little. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> I also never said that the only way to get better was playing ASA....YOU DID. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> I also believe that with more & more exposure tourney's coming about that it may bite into the draw of ASA for some teams. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />
slappypappy
The Force and the Fury have earned the first 2. Who are the frontrunners for the remaining berths? Who is chasing them? How many berths are awarded in TN? Also, is there any website that lists game results for ASA tournaments in TN?
