Tennesse-Kentucky Border Battle Tournament April 23-24

I found the following website but it looks like multiple games are being played at Greenwood at the same time. http://scoreboard.12dt.com/scoreboard/s ... /spec_5589. Schedule looks incomplete. Would be nice if a person that doesn't have a player on any team could find out information about the schedule and times.

 

Update. I guess if I would read the whole posting I would know more. Still looking for times when games will start.

Ok, if one more person tells me to go to kentucky.com/highschoolsports, I'm going to lose it!!

 

I've been to that site - it's hard to navigate, it took me forever to find anything to do with this tournament and when i did, I couldn't find what fields they're using. could someone please post the exact link to the exact spot where you all are reading this stuff.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

 

POOL PLAY:

 

1. 1 hour 15 minute time limit

2. No new inning will start after 1 hr. 5 min.

3. Games can end in a tie

4. Coin flip to determine home team (official book) – first team listed 3rd Base Dugout

5. No infield during pool play to help stay on schedule.

6. Pitchers - - only 3 warmup pitches after the first inning.

7. Steel Cleats are permitted in the tournament.

 

SINGLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT

 

1. 1 hour 15 minute time limit

2. No new inning will start after 1 hr. 5 minutes – except championship game.

3. International Tie Breaker after time limit expires.

4. Seeding - Seeded within your pool 1-4.

5. Seeding determined by record within pool -then head to head, runs allowed, then coin flip

6. Higher seed team will be home team (official book) – except for Championship Game

7. No infield during tournament play to help stay on schedule.

8. Pitchers - - only 3 warmup pitches after the first inning

 

***Weather Disruption : Tournament Committee will decide format / refund amount

Wonder if they'll still play tonight's games with a 100% chance of rain and storms tomorrow? That's a long way for some of the teams to travel to just play a couple of pool games.
