The Mustangs better be ready. Westview and Milan are in the books. Those Tigers will play as hard as they can against Huntingdon. But, with that said, if we bring our A game and hold on to the ball, it shouldn't be close.

There will probably be a little letdown for Huntingdon after playing two huge games against Martin and Milan, so the game will stay close for a quarter. Holder will finish the game with 200 yards and sit out the 4th. This one could get bad and ugly. Sorry Bruceton fans.

Too much horse power in the stangs. there mad bout last week and unfortunately for bruceton they gotta have the anger let out on them. mercy rule after half time holder and thompson and other starters wont play 2nd half. be a good day to get some of our younger blood in there and see what they got.

No matter what the score as long as both teams play hard and do their best. I can remember when the Mustangs were where the Tigers are now. Give this match up time and it will be back to a pretty evenly matched game. That could even happen next year. Who knows. Good Luck to both teams. Hope it is a good, hard fought game.

Nice article in the Carroll News Leader about Bruceton winning the State Title in 1989 against DCA. Nice picture of now Bruceton HC Jamie Williams scoring the final td of the game. Bruceton had some tough teams then and when they won the title it was in 3 classifications not the watered down version we have now. That was quite an accomplishment. I was at the "Ice Bowl" and was proud they won.

 

Coach Williams will get the players to play hard and he has more players out than Coach Gilmer had last year. It will take some time but he will get Central football back.

 

I look for a tough game Friday night. This will be their Super Bowl much like most teams we play.
