schs3
I have just moved to TN I currently live in the Clarksville Area. Wondering if anyone can tell me how I will stack up against others. I have high 70's (78 and up) and low 80's fastball. Breaking ball works most of the time but sometimes doesn't break as much. I averaged 1 walk and 9 k's last yr. That's playing 7 inning games. I threw 9 games. Any help would be appreciated.

Guest springer33lchscat
My advice for you is that your going to have to locate your pitchs(one of the biggest things),and changeing speeds and mix up your pitches. That is if you can do what you say, from the sound of it you might just have to put a mile or two more on your fastball but besides that good luck this year. And one more thing......STAY HEALTHY!!! Bighurt
If those numbers are accurate, you will be fine. Keep the fastball off the middle of the plate and show the curve occassionally - doesn't even have to be for strikes. Maybe, develop something off speed so hitters can't sit on your fastball. tcpioneer47
You need to locate your pitches, change speeds and have movement on every pitch. That is all it takes to get people out.
