Senior Post Players

As previously mentioned, Beth Hawn from Forrest has committed to UT Martin. She is 6'1 and although I am not sure of her stats from last year, I do know this....she is a not only a terrific leader for the Lady Rockets young team, she is poised to have a great Senior season!! I do believe she is one of the top post players around. Best of luck to Beth and the entire Lady Rockets team! GO Lady Rockets!!!!!!

Loudine Thomas of Collierville will be a sleeper. 6'1" and extremely athletic. Collierville also has Ashley Jones who is a junior(6'2") with a good mid range shot...

If she can remain injury free, Millington F Olivia Maddox (6'0") is one of the top prospects around. The problem is that she hasn't had an injury free season in her HS career.

Shannon Depew of Cocke County is definitely one of the best post in the state. She is very versatile, she played wing for her AAU team that finished 8th in the nationals and shot the 3 extremely well. She is physical in the paint and is almost automatic from 15ft. Her numbers would look better if they would realize she is their go to player but that won't happen b/c of a pg who thinks she is and a coach who is afraid to tell the team such.

Somebody ought to checking out Cody Houck at Clinton. She is a rebounding demon and developed her game to the point where she has a legit 3-point shot. She is a hard worker and plays stronger and bigger than her 5'10' size. You'll hear more about her as the season goes on!

Parica Glenn is not surrounded by the talent GC has, but is the most athletic post player in this area. Reedy is the most intelligent. Reedy does all the little things that most people don't notice and works extremely hard. Griffin is somewhere between Glenn and Reedy in athleticism and basketball know how. Glenn gets double and triple teamed each game, Reedy nor Griffin see that.

 

Perica Glenn from Milan is a very good post player! She's extremely strong and plays extremely hard out there on the floor. She also hustles down the floor for the easy transition points while the other players jog back down the floor in some cases. Maybe we'll see Perica playing at UTM in college!!!!

 

 

I agree. Perica Glenn can dominate anybody in the post. if she had others around here that could contribute better, Perica could be unstoppable.

The most underrated Player in the State is Aesha Randolph from WC High School. This will be her break out season. See is the best kept secret in 10AA.
