Spring Hill at Columbia

Advantages:

1. Size: Columbia.

2. Speed: Even.

3. Depth: Spring Hill (seems to rotate and play more players than Columbia)

 

What you think?

Spring Hill will be the underdog by probably 14 pts or more.

Can they pull off the upset?

Spinghill will have to keep it close to have any chance. Columbia may be just to much to handle. Springhill hasn't shown to be as strong as I thought they would being so senior heavy. Have to go with Columbia.

They have only played one team with a winning record...Giles and lost that. Columbia is the next.....see how they respond. They have only one more on their schedule........Page. They still could finish 7-3, but against no teams with winning records...(if they lose to Columbia and Page), they won't have a win, Not sure how that will prepare them for the playoffs. I think it will be a much closer game than that. I hate to say this but I think Columbia wins 35-27.

If we play up to our ability. If we play like we did at Lewis. Then we lose by 14 plus.

Last time I checked Page was 2-3 with their wins against 1-4 teams. (lewis and eagleville)

I guess you're assuming that Page will win out up until the SH game?

 

The ole "spring hill is senior laden" is getting a little old. Giles and Columbia have just as many if not more seniors as SH does.

Columbia smokes Spring Hill. They just aren't saying anything because they're over there posting on the AAA board.

 

The Lions have been up and down as long as I've been alive, but when they are on an up cycle........like now, they can compete with anyone. The Raiders are a nice 4A team, but they're not ready to compete with a top AAA program just yet. Shelbyville was undefeated before Columbia spanked them pretty good. Central is not going to lose a district game this year.

I think a nice 4A team just south of Columbia (Giles Co) really did "smoke" Shelbyville 51-3 the week before Columbia played them. Shelbyville wasn't "undefeated" when Columbia played them. They were a "DEFEATED" team.
