chattbudda
Chattanooga has four really nice high school fields! It is easy to name them! One of them is not Notre Dame!
ama3802
Anyone been to Sevier County lately? Great setting and the facilities are great.
BarcaFan
I fully agree about Hendersonville's Drakes Creek field. I believe it is called the Filed of Dreams?? I'm sure that cost a lot to build cause it sure looks nice. Hendersonville's "Field of Dreams" is a great soccer environment although it like most of the park that it sets in was devastated by the floods in May. It requires more work but the facility was top notch and I expect it will be again. The pitch is usually in perfect shape and large dimensions with professional bench seating and professional goals with drop nets. They also have very nice bleachers and announcers box. They need a new scoreboard, better PA, and better concessions area but the pitch is hard to beat at any level and it is in a great setting surrounded by woods and a creek. FutbalFan
Chattanooga has four really nice high school fields! It is easy to name them! One of them is not Notre Dame! Baylor is now building a new varsity field. The current varsity field will be MS field as MS field is wiped out to make tennis courts. Work is going fast although don't know when it will be completed. the field will be located up from the end of the soccer parking lot. Has anyone seen the facility plan for this new field? I'm sure the pitch will be full-size, high quality like current field, but don't know anything about team bench area or concessions upgrades. CHAMPDDS
A little of topic, but can someone from Soddy Daisy answer a stadium question for me that has been bugging me ? The built into the hillside concrete stands and the current soccer field do not line up at all, from the mid-field point of view...Why is the majority of the stands only on one half of the field, and not centered equally on either side of the mid-line ? is there some history regarding the addition of more stands ? D D that was Soddy's old football field. The Center line matches the the press boxs and splits the dugouts leaving room to expand the field or contract the the field depending on our talent level at the time.
