Nice article on Matt Arent in yesterday's Tennessean. He is a great kid with a bright future.

I read that also. It said Army had changed their offensive philosophy to an option-run scheme and thereby, Arent was moved from QB to Punter and is also doing some long snapping. Good luck to him and I fully appreciate the service he will be giving to his country in the future as an officer in the U.S. Army.

I met Arent when I was at West Point visiting my son last year. He is a tremendous young man and a fine addition to the Long Gray Line. He will join an elite fraternity upon graduation from The Academy. It really does take a special person to be appointed to and then survive the rigors of 4 years at West Point and be commissioned as a 2LT in the United States Army. My hat is off to him for accepting the challenge.
