First half was very sloppy on both sides. CCS had more quality chances, but nothing of substance. 0-0 at half. Whatever Coach JS said at half must have worked because the Irish came out on fire. The two forwards had multiple chances reminding me of the red-headed player from last year. CCS had no serious threats in the second half. The Irish should have a pretty good chance beating the 2nd place team from District 8 and will probably see CCS again next week.

 

On a side note, could someone offer a workshop to ND soccer parents on offsides and what it means when the ref declares an advantage after a foul or a handball? You would think Irish parents would know the rules after watching all the quality soccer that we watch.
