GOODPASTURE
Is this year's goodpasture team any better than the 08 bunch? Last year you had a little running back and not much else. This years team is a much more balanced team. This years team has better debth. Last years team had some very good seniors, along with Benji Cunningham. They dont have the breakaway threat at running back this year like they did with Benji last year. But they are a better team in my opinion. They have size on the line, they have speed at wide receiver. They are better at tight end, and there defense is better. I think there a year from doing something special, but the quicker these kids grow up on the field, the quicker they will be that good. They have the potential to accomplish anything they want this year, the question is, are they ready for it?
blitzinbuc
I'm pulling for Greenbrier. The most courteous and hospitable fans of any place I've ever visited.

I think I can speak for Bobcats fans when we say thank you for the compliment, blitznbuc. Greenbrier takes pride in our community and hospitality. Win or lose, the Bobcat fans turn out. This one is going to be on CSS tomorrow night for those that don't know....if you can't come, tune in! Go GREEN

Without we really have some downpours Friday, the field should be fine. It drains well and has good grass.

My Grandson played for Meigs County then. It was a good game, but Greenbrier was a little too much for us, and won by 14 I think. Everyone I met wearing green that night was very complimentary, wishing us success before the game, and treating us like royalty. Everyone thanked us for coming over, and wished us safe travels back home after the game. As our boys were loading up to get on the bus after their showers, etc., many of the Greenbrier fans and players came by and complimented them on a hard-fought game......which it was. As I said, I have NEVER been anywhere that treated visitors as well as the Greenbrier folks did us that night. That's a testimony to the people in the community, as well as the school administration and coaches. Good luck!
randomfan10
It doens't matter the outcome of the game. When our Superstar QB #12 from G.C. gets in rythme, everyone in the playoffs will be decimated. What are you talking about? #12! Everyone knows who I'm talking about!
