Creek Wood @ Cheatham

This game should be a good measuring stick for Cheatham. Creek Wood will probably put in their younger players as the game goes. When that happens it will be like Creek Wood and Cheatham's teams next year. That will show the young players on both sides how much harder they will have to work during the offseason.

Creek Wood got a great test tonight from a very inspired young Cubs team. The final score was 20-12 (14-12 at halftime). Creek Wood did have an awful call go against them tonight that nullified a touchdown run by Hooper. The Red Hawks scores did come on a pair of runs by Hooper as well as a run by Bell. Cheatham scored on a Montgomery touchdown run as well as a long touchdown pass from Potts to Chipman. Creek Wood finishes the regular season at 9-1 while Cheatham finishes the regular season at 1-9 overall.

As a side note I would also like to say congrats and a very special THANK YOU to the trio of seniors on this 2009 Cheatham football team. Randall Greer, Jameson Ragsdale, & Brady White now join an elite group of alumni in a fraternity that it definitely takes some toughness and courage to be a part of. Your hard work over these last 4 years will forever be remembered and I for one know that each one of you will go on to enjoy tremendous success in life.
