District 13AA, season thread

Gibson Co. defeated Haywood by the score of 71-41. This sets up a big rivalry game between Westview and GC Friday night. The gym should be nearly full for this one. Two of the top AA teams in the state going at it on a Friday night!!!!

I was told by a friend from Crockett Co at work today that Obion Cen. pulled their starters out with about 5 minutes to play and still won by about 30 points..And he said Crockett Co boys won by 10 points...I believe he said 88-78..

Gibson Co. won the big matchup tonight over Westview 51-40.

 

Obion Central beat Covington 84-49.

 

GC will be traveling to Ripley on Tuesday and traveling for another big 13AA matchup next Friday in Troy with the Obion Co. Lady Rebels!

Well, the Gibson Co. Lady Pioneers survived a close game with Westview on Friday night. This Friday night they will have another tough and close game with the Obion Co. Lady Rebels. They are lead by Texas signee Chassidy Fussell and look to be much improved compared to last year. GC will also be traveling to Ripley on Tuesday to take on the Ripley Tigers.

I'm not sure on her exact stats. I do know her lowest point total of the season has only been like 15 points. I imagine she's averaging about 23-24 PPG. Look back through this thread right here and see if her point total is posted by either of the GC people that get on here.

Gibson Co. defeated Obion Co. tonight by 16.

 

Westview defeated Crockett Co. tonight by around 30. Rechis dropped 33 in that game with 9 3's from what I was told! Awesome night for her.

 

I'll try to update the district standings tomorrow after I get a full list of scores from tonight.
