Beech will have to have an A+ game to stay in this one. Mitchell is BIG, STRONG, FAST, and has tons, tons, and more tons of SPEED at every position. If Beech can't score 40 + points then it may be a wrap. I am making this statement based on all of the compiled posts that I have read from previous games. Mitchell has depth at every skill position on the field and the defense is just as skillful.

You will NOT find a harder working team in the state than this team. Tons of teams with more talent yes....work harder NO WAY. And I don't even like them. But absolutely respect them. You may be able to score on them but know this, that O-line can take over a game where you just don't get the ball back. Going to be a cold one Friday night 33-36 degrees predicted.

I too would not be impressed with Beech by just looking at their stats. And if you come to the game you will say the same thing during warmups. I hope your players and coaches feel the same way.

Please don't think Highschoolking's cockiness is how us other Memphis fans are feeling, I think Mitchell will hold the edge with athletes, but they'll have to deal with an offense that will probably counteract their speed and aggressiveness on D.

Contrary to the thoughts of a lot of people, Beech is pretty athletic. I'll not be surprised if they wear Mitchell down and win by 2 touchdowns.

Contrary to the belief Mitchell can also be a very physical team as well. Don't let the high powered offense fool you, because Mitchell can just as easily throw the ball around the yard and win by 2 scores.

Heck, I'm sure Mitchell has nothing to worry about. Beech isn't even one of the ten best teams in the Midstate according to the Tennessean, and they are never wrong. Based on their rankings, Beech couldn't beat a good AA team. So I'd say Mitchell should probably go ahead and make reservations for Cookeville.

No I'm not a coach. I have seen Mitchell play several of games, but I didn't know anything about Beech ? I want to see how Mitchell stacks up against Beech formations and vice versa.

Guaranteeing Mitchell to win the State Championship is cockiness

 

Saying if a team can't score 40 then they shouldn't show up is cockiness.

 

I'm in my own lane, just make sure you stay within the boundaries of your own.
