I Am Thankful For...

I am thankful for...

 

-players who play with all their heart and soul every play

-the makers of artificial turf

-officials who do their job well

-coaches who care about their players personally and act honorably at all times

-coaches wives for loaning us their spouses to teach and lead our sons

-equipment managers who do countless loads of laundry and other tasks to keep us looking good

-bus drivers for our sons safe transport

-athletic trainers for therapy, taping, icing and helping injuries to heal

-ibuprofen/naproxen and icy hot for bumps, bruises, sprains and strains

-punters and holders with good hands

-loud fans who cheer positively

-cheerleaders

-bands with good musical ability

-announcers who give us color and situations

-radio sports shows following the game

-concessesion stands for drinks and hot dogs

-mapquest for road trips

-a boss who understands about Fridays

-a spouse who will discuss plays at 3am when I can't sleep before a game

-a terrific team and staff who have allowed me to be a team mom

-the color blue

-a son who is a really great young man who has allowed me to come long on this journey

-the great game of football

-CoachT for this wonderful venue
