Seriously, Beech's backs won't dazzle you with the look test. There are no sub 4.5 guys on the team. All their skill players are either sophs or jrs except 24. They just run extremely hard and have a knack for finding the hole. Beech's o line has progressed nicely as the year has gone on. They start either 2 or 3 srs on the o line depending on the set they are running. The rest of the o and d lines are sophs and jrs.

Looks like most of 9-AAA will be loaded again next season as well. I know H-ville played ton's of Juniors as did Gallatin who will return 7 starters on O with 4 of those on the O-line.

I think Columbia may be a little more Sr. loaded this year. They have payed their dues to be here after playing in 6-5A for so long. Beech's O-line versus Columbia's D-line is the key to this game.

Wow.....LB's knocking out opposing ball carriers, offensive weapons all over the field. I'm not sure Beech should even show up. We are just a bunch of undersized sophs. and jrs. that have fun playing the game.

win or lose it wont be easy so if you aren't prepared for a struggle you might be better

off not showing up

Has no one watched Beech play? I guess not, because if that were the case, this topic would be at 2 pages tops, with a mere debate over how many they win by. Beech cruises...

And before you start talking that talk, YES, I am saying Columbia is overmatched and YES, I am saying it will take a great game by the Lions and a terrible game by Beech for the Bucs to lose.

    • Groves got the ball over 20+ times. His son arguably played the best for East in that game. 3rd and long multiple times and he came up big to continue a couple drives. Please shut up for the 3rd year in a row
    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
