New Districts and 7AAA

With the new district alignments did all schools/districts go to a three game format? IMO the 3 game format of 7AAA is fantastic and will really test the pitching depth of each team. What team has the most pitching depth and best staff in 7AAA?

Well you have siegel and blackman that has guys going to the SEC to pitch so there is some talent there. I REALLY like the 3 game series it should be a lot of fun

If history holds true, then people better watch out for Oakland this year. Coach Hawks doesn't have back to back subpar seasons, and they are loaded with upperclassmen (mostly juniors with a ton of talent)

You are right - both of those schools have #1 guys going to the SEC. I heard they have pretty good #2 guys also. How deep are they? The real test this year is going to be depth. Any thoughts on who has the most depth?

On the first part of your question, District 8AAA loses Coffee County but is keeping the Tuesday/Wednesday series. Each team has the first two weeks off from distict games then goes 5 straight weeks after that. The tournament is in Franklin County this year.

It is played on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. They are home, away, home or away, home, away and next year rotate. Very exciting format that will test the pitching depths of teams.

You are in a very tough district, but there are only 6 teams in it. Pitching must be really deep to compete with this format, but it can only help you when playoff time arrives. Good luck and thanks for the answer. GO KEES!!!
