Winner of Clarkrange vs ECS plays Tuesday at 7:00. Loser plays at 4:00

Winner of Blackman vs Lewis County plays Tuesday at 7:00. Loser plays at 4:00

 

Winner of Moore County vs Tenn. High plays Tuesday at 8:30. Loser plays at 5:30

Winner of FRA vs BGA plays Tuesday at 8:30. Loser plays at 5:30

Was the Moore County/Tennessee High game as close as the score looks?

Tennesse played a lot of good schools, one being Elizabethton which I believe is a AA Team with very few defeats. Moore County, as you know is always tough, You hve a very good tournament and the schools involved have something at stake. If they accepted your invitation to come, no matter the Division, they came to win. Your reputation in basketball in DAA preceeded you. They expect you, at this point, to compete in DII Championship. If you don't do that, they should not have come.

Was the Moore County/Tennessee High game as close as the score looks?

The game was indeed close. Tennessee ran out by about 12 but Moore County fought back to tie at the end of the third quarter. Moore County lead briefly in the fourth-good game, 2 pretty good teams.

The games yesterday were good. The Blackman/Lewis County game was closer than the score. Lewis County has a real spark and is aggressive. The definately do not have size but make uop for it in hustle and desire. If they play the way they did against Blackman they will beat BGA easily... But it is tounament play and anything goes.

 

Blackman is strong and will do well. The center got into foul trouble early and was benched a good part of the game. The should and are the favorite.

 

The Tennessee/Mooore County game was really (unfortunately) an officials game. Tennessee shot, are you ready, 56 free throws. Also Moore County had turnover problems in the first half that also impacted the game. Both are good teams and will do well this year. Moore County should have a relatively easy time with ECS.

 

FRA dominated BGA from the start. The score was 16-4 with a couple of minutes left in the first quarter. Freshman Derica Wyatt for FRA had 25 points and had 3 3 pointers in the first quarter. FRA Tennessee should be a good game but look for FRA to win that one.

I think this is a good post especially MC/Tennessee game. Were these picky fouls? If you are correct in your numbers, nothing was done except shooting foul shots. MC had no one left that could play. Someone misaccessed the way the oficials were calling the game.
