akphilips
I understand Sweetwater High School is looking to hire a new head football coach, and can hire in after Christmas.
automatic
Did the coach resign or was he fired? Are there any candidates for the job?

coach1076
I know sweetwater has a lot of tradition. What happened bring in a new coach & go 2-8. Was it just not a good fit or is the talent way down?
CoachSwitzer
Does anyone have any insight on this job? What kind of talent do they have? Does the new HC have to be a PE teacher? Should they be more competitive than they are?
ajw
how about Masingale from central???? He is a P.E teacher also!!!!
justwinbaby
I hear that it may be a done deal! The DC at McMinn Central would be a great choice. He is very knowledgable of the game and great community guy. WOW! What a rift it would create at Central. The whole family up in Liberty Hill would be up in arms! smokinote
I seriously doubt there would be any animosity. If Massengil were to go to SweetH20 I'm sure Coach Goodin would wish him the best as would most the Englewood brethren.
akphilips
No it's not a done deal, I'm sure of that, Sweetwater had a very young and unexperiened team last year, I think their talent level is a bit down but with maturity they will continue to improve the next few years.
