After the Greeneville loss I felt that DB would go 8-2.

They played hard against the G-men and the Greenies are pretty strong this year. Good luck 72.

You are definitely right firefly. Lamon Williams is nasty. He might end up doing some really special things before he moves on. He's 6'3", 185 lbs. and can scoot too. If he can keep his nose clean, which from talking to him, I think he definitely will, the sky is the limit.

No one should count DB out this year. They are a good team. They are 3-2 right now, but they have lost 2 close games to 2 good teams and without losing starters in both games probably would have won. In 1999 at this point Sevier Co. was 1-3 and they came back and won the State Championship. DB bounced back this week when no one thought they would and dominated Jefferson Co. So I dont want to hear that they dont have a chance this year.

All football programs have peaks and valleys. I think the good programs always come back and DB will be there at the end. The great news for those of us down here in Oak Ridge is that DB is back on our schedule next season. Two great schools with great traditions have always made that game special. Maybe we will get a preview this season in the playoffs.

If that is true, then it is one of the better things I have heard in a while. I played in six of those games (including the playoffs), and there is not a better rivalry in the state. That is some very good news.
