Some joker was on the live McKinley BLOG embarrassing themselves and the Gallatin program……he was saying the Wave would beat McKinley 8 out of 10 time they played and The Wave was the best team not only here in TN but in the south……..He was “TNBALLER†If you know him u should rain him/her in because yall are better then that.

Hope yall enjoyed playing in my home state……..sounded like yall came out healthy and good luck this year.

Gallatin shot there foot completely off tonight......fumble on their opening possesion on the kickoff.....and tuff defensive stand inside the 10 to get the ball back with some MO.....then 3 plays later the center snap the ball when the QB wasn't looking and the ball rolls out of the back of the endzone SAFTEY! The defense playd close to 30 snaps in the first half alone, gallatin receives the ball to start the second have and what do youknow another turnover....with the short kick hitting an upman and being recovered by mckinley. It was one nightmare after another for gallatin. They were able to start moving the ball in the 4th but the game was already decided..they showed great heart and not quitting and kept playing strong let's get the green and gold back down here to the wave yard!!

Gallatin turned the ball over 4 maybe 5 times. The game should have been a single digit win for either team. But, McKinley deserved to win and capitalized on all the Gallatin turnovers. The Wave should be fine back in TN.

Wow, the game I listened to sounded a little different. Sure the Wave played them tough, but it sounded to me like Gallatin was overmatched in this one. They had no answer for the Bulldogs ground game, as they had to be approaching 300yds along with 150yds passing. Mckinley also fumbled the ball away twice driving in Gallatin territory, or it could very well have been worse. They had their share of penalties that cost them too. Mistakes aside, the Green Wave couldn't sustain a drive until the 4th, when the game had already been decided. Halftime yardage totals....McKinley 43 plays/292yds-Gallatin 18 plays/22yds. Even the announcers came across as being a little in awe with their take/comments on McKinley's speed, D-line and rb's. Also stating they hadn't seen a team like McKinley in years. For the most part, that's a team that lost 4 games last year, and could very easily lose 3 this year, starting next week against Braxton Miller and Huber Heights Wayne, who whipped them last year. They have some big games ahead of them, as does the Wave. It will be interesting to see how each team fares from here on out, and best of luck to both programs.

For h.s. football fans who didn't get to make the trip and would like to see McKinley and/or their next opponent(Huber Heights Wayne) on tv....

Huber Heights plays Cincinnati Moeller 8/29(tommorrow) on ESPNU at 6pm central. H.H. Wayne's qb Braxton Miller is rated by Scout and Rivals as the #1 dual threat qb and headed to Ohio State. Moeller starts out rated the 4th best team in Cincy behind Elder, St. X and Colerain.

The following Sunday 9/5, Canton McKinley will play Huber Heights Wayne at 2:30 central on ESPNU also. We will see where McKinley stands in Ohio, as Wayne is looking to have a great year also. Miller and co. will be a huge test for the Bulldogs defense, as he can kill you with his legs as well as his arm.
