State predictions anyone?

Toon must be included in any "predictions" at 215. He is the finest wrestler I have seen in years and years. Sorry i missed his loss at Bradley. I would love to see him go at iit in the state finals with crow. What has crow got?

You must be Toon's dad or girlfriend or classmate! This is hilarious. Toon is an above average wrestler at best and probably a great kid. but nothing more. he can't even win the bradley tournament and he's the finest wrestler in years and years. Croy (not crow-which shows how much you know about TN wrestling) will dominate him and someone else already beat him from the 215 pound class this past weekend. Croy is ranked 6th in the nation, two straight undefeated seasons, only lost 4 matches in his whole h.s. career and two state titles! Toon on the other hand has not even won a region championship or placed in the state tournament. go cut some wood and stay out of the wrestling world.

Yo Rocky, now you're talking about one of my boyssssssssss. Tyler is way above average my TBSFBAG fan, and if you took the time to take a peek and see what he has done this summer, I know with your high priced education, you would not speak of him in this way.

I can assure you that this poster is not a parent of Tyler, for they are very humble people that don't toot their sons name. And the Bradley at 215, I can say for sure, was much tougher than the tournament your team participated in.

And if you like, tell tyler you think he is an average wrestler and see if that doesn't get you tossed into the bleachers.

Now Rock, don't throw em unless you want them tossed back.

bcb iii :D

MWR, I was wro... about Croy. I thought he had only won one State title. so yes indeed Mr Croy has

joined the elite club.

Thanks on lil bit

Yo back to ya and Adrian says hello to old BCB :thumb: you look at my post and tell me what i said that was untrue or un-kind! has he won a region crown-NO! has he even won the bradley, soddy, mcallie, brentwood or any other individual title at a above average tournament-NO! has he placed in the state tournament during any of his high school career-NO! Has he placed in a national tournament-NO! And he is a senior! yet, i was kind and gracious by still calling him an above average wrestler because i do think he has potential and i've heard he is a hard worker. Think about it Mr. Bear, 1. Great, 2. Above average, 3. average, 4. below average, 5. terrible. For educated folks it would go like this, 1. A, 2. B, 3. C, 4. D, 5. F. On this scale, Above Average is not bad. My response was to the guy that said that Toon was the finest wrestler he has seen for years and years and questioned Crow (Croy) in the process. Glad he is one of your boys, that's a good thing most of the time. But until he does something, he is an above average wrestler at best and that's still pretty good, but not great! Your high price education from ND should let you see and understand that, instead of speaking from your heart. Facts are facts and feelings are feelings. I stated facts and you stated feelings. Your feelings for your boy has clouded reality. And for clarity, my post was more about the post i responded to verses being about Toon! Sorry your little feelings were hurt, i did not intend to do that. Have a cup of warm egg nog on me, breath deep and have a Merry Christmas!

i'm an old man in my late 50's now, so i don't even think about throwing an 18 year old in his prime, but i do know that i could still throw a 141lber like you BCB. Those bleachers would be might hard on those tiny bones of yours. :thumb:

p.s. You said "average", I said "above average". See your post and mine for details. Again, that education you recieved should teach reading or has their been to much egg nog digested over the years?

i agree with diemandave its way to early to tell theres alot of great wrestling to be done in January and alot of wrestlers will make a drop after christmas

Now if ye ask me on Feb. 18th then i'll bet money on these predictions..but there's been talk that Mullins is dropping to 112. I think that leaves 119 open for a dark horse to come in...

Does anyone agree?

I think that Toon is beatable....Simpson honestly out fought Toon at the Bradley Inv. it was tied up going into overtime, Simpson got in on a good shot and Toon couldn't defend. I think all that shows is a lack of pride and fight. If i was wrestling in overtime against someone that i could possibly see in Feb. you better believe i'm not gettin' taken down.

Please read my above post! I'd love to know what i said that was nasty about a child/young man! I just stated what is true in response to the post about him being one of the best in years and years. I even said he was a great kid and hard worker and had potential. Read the above post 2lb, not read into it!

Not too bad for a first pass this time of year. A quick glance found a few items in D-1 needing correction.

112- The Bradley kid ( Crutcher ? ) should be on everyone's prediction list, at or near the top.

130- Jess Hooper has not wrestled a match this year, his wrestling career appears to be over.

215- Simpson should be in the top 3, a spot or two below Croy.

Hwt- Tyler Dailey is a big guy and he's pretty good but he doesn't warrant two spots on your top 6 list.

Yo Rock, I think Mick had you chasing the chicken a little to long.

I think Mr Balboa, what made my feelings show, is that a grown man from Baylor has the time to make statements about a family and child that are somewhat disparaging and just not correct.

First thing first , Tyler DID win his Region last year, and by the way Regions are tournaments that you wrestle in the MANS DIVISION to qualify for the State. So your statement about my Boy was not factual.

Then you implied that Lumberjack was one of Tylers parents, which would cast a ugly cloud over these two great parents.

Maybe Lumberjack has only witnessed a couple of matches and Tyler is the finest he has ever seen. Could I call your wife a liar if she said you were the best lover she has had in the last year, No because in her eyes maybe you are.

I will offer my hand in apology for the above average/average statement, unlike you , I wasted my above average priced education and my reading ,understanding skills are far inferior to yours.

Thank you so much for the comment on my weight, although I have lost about 10lbs, 141 will never be seen again. I will be at your match on the 30th, I'll see if Red Pants will let you throw me a couple of times.

Wow!!! tyler was down 3 with about 20 seconds left in reg. and took Simpson down twice to tie it up, that does sound like a lack of fight. What an Idiot.

Well golly, i mean i saw the match and Simpson's best shot is a big double leg (which he got in on earlier in the match) I just think that if you've gotten taken down by one shot multiple times you should be aware that maybe he's gonna try it again. And in my opinion when it came down to it, Toon backed off the gas and that lost him the match

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.

    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
