Unbelievable, thats the only way to describe that no lineman from tc made any of the all state teams. Alex Gregory was defensive mvp of region and didnt make it {something is wrong with that picture}.Winning back to back state championships is a greater accomplishment than any individual award anyway because football is a team sport. To the sr linemen thanks for pounding the rock without any recognition and to the underclassmen keep on pounding the rock and lets try for a threepeat.

Gotta agree with the question, Where is Dionn O'Dell from Tellico Plains? This kid had a tremendous season, not to mention that he had a stat line from one game that was probably the only one of its kind in history. He scored running, throwing, catching, and a kickoff return in the first half. Opened the second half by tackling opponent in the end zone for a safety, then returned the punt for a TD! That is just sick....

What does it matter who his oppenent was??? DEION #33 should have been on the 2A team!!!! Unbelievable to say the least!!!!!! How does the TN Sports Writers pick the teams??? There should be some kind of list to pick from with stats, not some kid with a name or size that did jack on a team of superstars. This kid should stand out and have stats to back it. Deion only had 2100+ all purpose yards with 20 TDs lets break it down -- 15 rushing, 1 recieving, 3 kick returns, 1 fumble return, & threw 2 TDs. 3A Offensive Player of the Year 2009 season.
