If I remember right Long Branch has a pretty strong program out of NJ (most teams at this event are) don't overlook them before heading on to Blair.

CH wrestled very very well against Blair.

CH-Ferguson caught Hvolbeck in a cradle and pinned him at 103.

CH-Partridge was able to keep his loss to Silver to a dec at 112.

Blair's 125 was out so they weren't very good there. They subbed a JV kid in at 135 so they coul roll up Ormsbee and Villalonga to trap Smith against one or the other. Ormsbee md'd Willard. Villalonga scrambled out of a deep shot by Smith in the 1st P and ended up with the takedown and cruised to a 5-3 dec.

Shanaman majored CH at 52. CH lost a 2-0 dec at 160 in the most critical match of the dual. Blair is not very good here.If CH wins here, I believe they would have won the dual. CH won at 171 and 215. Blair won at 189 and hwt with Evans getting a quick pin at 189.

 

It was a good match which CH was in a position to win but....

 

I've seen CH wrestle both Brandon and Blair. My $ would be on Brandon in a match between those two.
