Where are you getting your Westview info? You need to check your sources.

I have heard that Westview is very good this year and many people say they are looking to have a deep playoff year. It doesn't really matter who wins the jamboree it is just a glorified scrimmage anyways. I am just hoping they can hang in there and not get blown out or get somebody hurt vs WV. I saw WV vs Hunt last year and they almost, really should have won that game and they have most of those guys returning.

I was at the Bruceton SF scrimmage and I thought the score was 2-2. I believe overall that Bruceton had the better showing of the two. Had a couple of wide open passes for TD's dropped and they moved the ball pretty well all night once they really got going. Played some stingy defense too. Looked somewhat like the Bruceton of yesteryear and it was a welcome site.

Tigers played well against a very good Martin Westview team at the jamboree. I'm sure there were lots of butterflys and emotions were running high. Hoping the Tigers will hang in there and get some wins this season.

Tigers played very good Charger team, Charger looked pretty good I do not think the Chargers were a good measuring stick for B/HR. I was impressed with the Tigers players' attitudes look like they never gave up. I think things are turning around in B/HR I see good thing happening there soon. I wish the Tigers good luck except for week 9

i saw bruceton play for the first time last night and in my opinion the answer to this question is no, they wont win a game. i also have a question. all i hear about is how that #31 kid is just the best player and is all state material. he didnt play last year against Huntingdon and last night he was in jeans. whats his deal? and if i sounded rude i didnt mean to be. i hope the tigers pull out some victories this year, but i just dont know if the o-line is going to be able to move the ball and get in the endzone enough to win a game. good luck tho

You obviously didn't watch the same game as everyone else. Bruceton will win some games this year. They are a 1A school playing a 3A school. As far as #31 goes, he has a strained back muscle. So why play him in the jamboree and risk further injury when he can rest it before the season begins for real on Aug. 27? There is a new attitude in Bruceton this year. The last 2 years they only had 3 seniors and 2 seniors so that is part of why they struggled.

Thank you for the positive comments. These seniors and juniors have matured tremendously and we are hoping for some wins this season.

C'Mon Tigers! Let's Shut Em Up And Make The Playoffs! :thumb:

Week off will be good for the Tigers as they try to get everybody back. They have at least 2 guys who can really contribute that have not played a down yet this fall.

You never want to lose, but they made a respectable showing against Westview. The chargers are generally tough and I think they are really going to be good this year as they have a wealth of experience returning.

We'll see Friday night vs Huntingdon.

I'm With The Tigers! I like What I Saw At the Scrimmage With South Fulton. They'll Get There. :thumb:

    • Best-of-three sectional series vs East Robertson at home starting Wednesday.  They put us out last year at this point.  Go Pirates!!
    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.
    • Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?
    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
