I am in ahhh, with Unicoi's hitting! SHHS 6, Unicoi 13 with 16 hits & 13 k's, impressive 1 bad inning. M. West 0 Unicoi 11 in 5 innings, wow would have never of guessed it. Looks like it may be a good year after all for the Lady Blue. M. West 2 hit shutout I really have to say impressive. Lot of respect for the Trojans! :roflol:

Lady Cyclones are off to a solid start. The varsity blasted North Greene 20-1 in their home opener and then beat Tennessee High 15-1, with Erin Kiser blasting two homeruns in one inning. Kadey Robinson pitched well in both games and looks completely recovered from her knee injury. The Lady Cyclones split two in the Tiger Tournament in Athens yesterday, beating McMinn County 5-0 and losing in the international tie breaker 3-2 to South Pittsburg. The defense is solid and the hitting is coming from every spot in the lineup so far. The Lady Cyclone JV team is 4-0 with two big wins over East, a 29-0 win over North Greene, and a 7-2 victory over Tennessee High. Coach Hardin has 11 talented freshmen in his program and three or four of them already have some varsity experience under their belts. Betsy will be solid for awhile. Go Cyclones!!!!!!!

Lady Cyclones knocked off Unicoi Co. 4-2 tonight on the Lady Devil's diamond. Great pitching from Kadey Robinson! Lady Cyclones had huge hits from Logan White, Rikki Pritchard, Erin Kiser, and Kelsey Mains. Kara Woods pitched well for Unicoi and Brittany DePew blasted a two run homer to tighten it up late. Congratulations to Coach Hardin and the Lady Cyclones. The rematch should be fun. Go Cyclones!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
    • Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
