Ooltewah is losing a coaching "GREAT" today.He met with the team around 10:30 this morning and said,he wanted them to know before it hit the news. No replacement has be announced yet.

Congratulatons to Coach Monroe on a legendary career. This has been the worst kept secret in Ooltewah for the last year, although there will be those that will argue the point, as if it matters. This has been predicted for some time.

Now, let the Ralph Potter rumors begin!

I was sorry to learn of the loss of his grandchild. I wish Coach Monroe a happy, healthy retirement. He'll be remembered for a lot of years to come as a legendary figure in TN high school football.

Now Doug Greene the defensive coordinator just announced,he's leaving.Taking a coaching job at Carson-newman. He was a front runner for the head coaching job. Now its totally up in the air.
