I went to TSSAA.org and clicked on a link for the region. It has the bracket and teams listed.

The score was Lipscomb 60 Sycamore 48 in the Tennessean. Someone can post it on the scorebord, or someone else will.

6:00 - Macon Cty(1) vs. East Lit (2)

7:30 - CPA (1) vs. David Lipscomb (3)

 

Games at East Lit.

 

If Friday's games are any indication we should be in for two great games Monday night. Macon County survived Hume Fogg by 2 and East Lit got by Goodpasture by 6. In the other bracket, rivals CPA and DL go at it. CPA crushed Westmoreland and DL was up on Sycamore by 25 at one point before winning by double digits. Should be fun!

You were right on the money. Two great games tonight. Macon County wins by 4 in OT after being up 30-15 at half. CPA wins by 2 in a back and forth struggle all night. I thought Lipscomb kept CPA off balance all night and played a great game and probably should have won. CPA showed grit and determination at the end to pull it out.

Merideth Roman led the Lady Lions in scoring with 16 points. She hit two free throws with 5 seconds to go to put CPA up by 4 (taking an elbow in the nose) to ice the win for CPA. Anna Mitchell had a great game for the Lions as well scoring 15.

Agree. CPA has another freshman, Lauren Thompson, that I think will be a future star for CPA. She is coming off the bench and being a key role player this year, but I think she will be a force to reckon with in the coming years. She is about 6-2 and has a sweet 8-10 foot jump shot and has really gotten tougher in the paint this year. I am impressed.
