That's a good question. It's kinda weird that nobody has been named yet. Seems like that would be a good gig to get though. You're gonna have the smartest team thats for sure! lol

yep and if they really are in district 9a it wont be hard to get out of that district boys basketball is not al lthat good to me in that district

Im kinda surprised at all the talk the middle school coaching vacancies have gotten. I know it would be great to have a good middle school coach to help develop your players before high school, but there are some bad middle school coaches out there now feeding some good basketball schools.

I think the reason being is because with rutherford county havig 10 middle schools next year basically every school has at least one feeder program so it is going to have an affect on district 7AAA

It's also becoming a bigger deal because now there's only 1 middle school league in Rutherford County.

so now that the season is officially over I guess the talks of open positions is really about to heat up. since Rutherford County is on spring break i guess we wont hear anything until next week at the earliest

I heard Brad Decker was hired to teach at Oakland Middle no word on him getting the coaching job though. However, I think he'll get it. He'll do a job I think. I still can't believe Hopper didn't go after that job! Maybe he knows someting we don't! Lol

Maybe the job was never offered to hooper. I guess they were going after someone with high school experience to try and build a legit feeder program for oakland high. Either would have been a good hire, but I heard hooper was never going to be in the mix for oakland middle.

Has anubody heard anything about the Blackman High job? I've heard a bunch of names thrown out there but that's it. They'll need to hire somebody soon!

I'm still hearing the job is going to kevin thomas unless he turns it down. I think it would be a good move for thomas. It looks like the well has run dry at shelbyville.
