CCS-5. Signal Mtn-0. Kudos to great effort by Signal Mtn. 1-0 at halftime. Very good keeper, hard rugged play by Signal.

Big G, CCS executed great low pressure, counter attack against Dalton. Dalton outshot CCS, with most shots 30 and out. Great counter produced near post header to tie match.

Team to watch in Chattanooga: Notre Dame. Dangerous forwards, big physical central defenders/midfield. Great team speed.

Thanks, Chatt. We played them about 2 years ago, and they had incredible technical skills (Dalton). CCS is going to be a front runner this year.

Bearden-3 Notre Dame-2. Physical, direct soccer, both ways. Pretty even match. Center back for ND very dangerous on direct kicks. Bearden had 6 or 7 in wall late in match. ND tied match with quick throw to near post, flick on. Left mid finished with a great volley. Might have caught Bearden a little off balance with quick play. Bearden scored go ahead on nice back post header from about 12-15 out off of corner. Keeper screened by well positioned player. Great match.

yeah was tied at 1-1 with under two minutes to go and Columbia's keeper made a stupid play that resulted in a red card. Tough fought match for the most part until the very end.

The play was clean. Ther Independence player stopped and the Columbia goalie came out on a full sprint and couldn't stop. It was a bad call that gave Independence a PK on the back-up goalkeeper. Putting them up 2-1 and Columbia went on full attack and Independence got another, taking advantage of the pressure.

Even if it wasn't a straight red card...everyone is forgetting to mention that the goalkeeper had already had a yellow card for kicking the ball away in the first half. It was not a malicious foul, but a hard foul in the penalty area none the less....it would've drawn a card in any match...too bad the goalie was on a yellow. As we all know, many matches have been won and lost in stoppage time. Players play hard, fouls happen, cards are given and teams score goals......Indy won.....MOVE ON!!!!! :thumb:
