Bearden vs. Melrose - AAA Semi-Finals

Just talked to Nate Jr . Nate did break his ankle. He. Will have surgery next week. Knowing this family I'm just heat broken. Get well big guy and get ready for NIU.

I really hate that Nate got hurt. That's really sad. Tough break for this young man. I hope everything heals good.

 

Also, I was very impressed with the coaching job that Bearden's coach has done with his team. They were very well coached, and his game plan was great. I really thought that Melrose would run away with this game, but Bearden hung with them. And, from what I saw, most of Bearden's team was young. So, they'll probably be right there fighting for the state title again next year. But, of course, a lot of Melrose's players are young, too!!

 

Well, it was a great game to watch.
