I am surprised that an "AA" school not on anyone's radar, at least not mine, plays in the championship game and takes it to extra innings to boot. Especially with Riverdale, Beech, and Goodpasture in the field.

I believe you are right. I don't think Goodpasture or Science Hill were in the top 8. I think the top 8 were:

Marshall Co

Creekwood

Riverdale

Cookeville

Austin AL

Beech

Hendersonville

Clarksville

Marshall Co. was pretty good last year. With not losing alot from last years team I expect them to make more of an impact this season, & they are probably the best team in a county that has some pretty good softball teams

I think that they are the BEST team in District 12, not so sure about them being the BEST team in the county though. I have watched them and Cornersville play already this spring and Cornersville looked pretty tough. Forrest has played in 3 state title games in a row, so you can't rule them out. I guess we will all find out on April 23rd when all three teams play against each other on that day.
