yep...Game was a bit closer maybe then score would show...two starters out for Berean defense really hurt and freshman keeper is still learning ...just gave up some easy goals...Berean had a chance to tie it 1-1 on a PK and Carter keeper just guessed right and got it ...that I believe could have made the game a lot different...Berean will respond still early and they are usally behind a bit at the start...Carter looked better seemed they have learned a lot about themselves since the West and tourney losses...teams played hard and was good game

Just a quick note about our keeper. Nathan Crockett has been our starting keeper for the past 3 years. This is the 2nd PK he has stopped this year. I know that "guessed right" has a lot to do with blocking a PK...but so does, anticipation, quickness, and COURAGE! Nathan is the best keeper we have had at Carter (his older brother was pretty special as well) and one of the best keepers I have ever seen.

 

Good game last night....Coach Tad is doing a very good job with his team. They play agressive, together, and with a lot of CLASS!

sounded like it was a tough, physical game and actually kind of boring? Lots of fouls a few cards for Norman North. Farragut scored off a header in the 62nd minute.

 

Farragut plays Pinewood Prep (SC) tomorrow at noon.
