The job P.A Pratt did at Crockett County is a perfect example of a coach leaving a program in better shape than he found it....

Any word on possible replacements ??

We start spring practice next week, so I would think a decision should be coming soon. The Jackson Sun reported that we've had 41 applicants.

Cary "Mac" McCurry is the new coach at Crockett Co., according to JacksonSun.com.

McCurry has spent the last five seasons as head coach at Ripley High in Mississippi, where he posted a record of 48-15 (.762). During that time, the Tigers won three region championships and made the state playoffs in each of his five years.

McCurry is a graduate of Franklin Co. and Carson-Newman, and has had successful tenures as head coach at Moore Co. and Marshall Co.
