There is hope for Richland. Remember that Giles was in the exact same position before O'Connor was hired back in 2006. They hadn't even sniffed the playoffs since the 90's and he led them to a state title in just 4 years. I am not saying Richland is going to win the state championship. I am saying that they can compete. It was just a few years ago that they were in the 2nd round of the playoffs (and nearly in the Quarterfinals).

I just think it will be tough fo the Raiders to bounce back from such an emotional year last year, granted they may build up to something in a few years. But guys this isn't a movie, they are not gonna go undefeated they probably won't get to a 500 season but I am all for these young men fighting to prove their spot. Who do they scimmage in spring?

I hope the Richland students, parents, fans, & alumni make plans to attend the scrimmage. Its time to move on and this would be an excellent opportunity for all to come out and cheer the young men on. Having a great season could well start right here.
