Cornersville would have (2) more wins, if the Chapel Hill administration wasn't scared to play in 2017 and 2018. I have it on good authority that they declined Cornersville's request for a two game series. The meeting took place at the Sonic in front of Brook's Grocery.

Alright, been doing a little research: The Tennessee High School single game rushing record belongs to Taeton Wink (Stewart County) with 572 yards in 2016. My model projects Ben Franklin (not the dork who invented electricity) to have between 585-620 yards. I'm still working on my model for game results, but early returns show Cornersville projected to score between 38-51 points, while it has Chapel Hill projected between 3.5-7 points. I haven't made my own predictions yet (that will come Friday before lunch), but this is what my model shows.

Lol they do "have more than Franklin", but if Chapel Hill hasn't brought in any transfers since last week, then all they will need is Ben Franklin.

Yes, I am from Clay County and big fan of the football program and I believe we get beat (soundly).

I get your perspective but I will have a hard time agreeing that a guy who was just an assistant 3 years ago, and hasnt won anything substantial yet, is better than the guy with (2) state championship appearances. Then add in the fact that historically speaking, Cornersville was one of the worst programs in 1A high school football. Yes, he had gobs of talent on those (2) state championship teams, but it has been proven many times that talent doesn’t get you there. It’s a combination of that and coaching. There have been kids who have come thru the Cornersville progam, who’s talent was on par with Woodard and anyone else you name from those teams. Their talent was overshadowed by ineffective coaching (not talking strictly about past head coaches, the assistants were poor in some cases, too). so yeah, when you pit Randolph/Stephenson against each other and factor in their respective accomplishments at this point in their careers, nobody in their right mind is going to refer to that as a “draw” lol. That statement has led me to question the rest of your post in regards to what position groups have the “edge”. If you misjudged the obvious coaching advantage, then I’m sure your other observations are incorrect (respectfully of course).

Unfortunately, that will not matter Friday night. hang the banner on the past accomplishments tho!
