Will Dobyns-Bennett be able to Win a post season game this year? Will Science Hill step up after playing the TSSAA's #1 hardest schedule and go to state. Tournament? Who's going to win Dist. 2 with the the new alignment. Is Jeff Co. the team to beat, Sevier Co.? Morristown West? There have been very little posting coming out of the far East and I for one would like to know who might face region 2 AAA in the Sectionals, like they would have a chance with the victors of the DOD.

I think Coach Woods has DB on the right track. The team is final playing as a team and not as individuals as they have in the past. The players seem to have the drive to win the district this year.

Science Hill has played tough schedule but they have had trouble in the district beating Sullivan Central only 1-0 and they should be playing again on Tuesday May 11th in the District semifinals.

I heard Sevier Co. was regular season champs of Dist. 2 , who was runner-up? Was it Jeff Co.? Who's the favorite to represent from this region?

Sevier County did win the district with South Doyle 2nd.

Morristown West finished 3rd and will play #6 Morristown East on Monday. Also on Monday #4 Jefferson County will play #5 Seymour. These games as well as the semis on Wednesday and final on Friday will be played at the Sevier County Soccer Complex.

TN High over Sullivan South 4-3 will meet DB in Qtr final tomorrow 5:00 at DB. Should be a good contest.

Dobyns Bennett won 5-0 over TN High to advance to district final, Science Hill is up 5-0 at the half over Sullivan Central. This should be a classic show down Thurs. in Dist. 1

Seymour won District 2. They brought it home when it really counted.

DB is # 5 this week. Also, their record is listed as 19-0-1. Very Impressive record.

 

I think we will find out if they are for real when they play on Saturday in the sectionals.
