Pantherfan66
Riverside beat Adamsville 4 out of 5 times and beat Eagleville in the Tournament of Champions. Haven't seen anyone else. Last year Friendship was good.
TitansFan83
NCS looked great against Summertown and should be considered a threat to win it all.
dmoney1nc
Ncs and friendship should be the most interesting first round game.
redkuda
It's hard to say who's best, so many times it depends on how deep the pitching is. A good pitcher can generally hold a good offense at bay but a couple of defensive errors and all that goes away. NCS's number 1 is very good, Riverside's as well. We (Eagleville) played with Riverside for 4 or 5 innings but didn't have our true starting line-up in the game the full time and had way to many errors (I think we're a better team now), Riverside may not have had all their starters in either, don't know. Our coach likes to mix it up during regular season tournaments to give the younger guys experience. I think most people know about Gant (very good). Friendship looks very strong but don't know them to well. Does anybody know much about Hancock County or Boyd Buchanan? I think it will all come down to match ups on the mound if everybody plays good defense.
UNC23
Everyone talks about how good their ace pitcher is, but what the state tournament comes down to is who has the most depth. Even if your ace throws a gem on game 1, it's up to your #2 and #3 guys to get you to the championship game. So the team with the best overall pitching staff will usually win the tournament (Unless you're Jackson Christian in '08 and you can just outscore everybody, lol). CommanderMan
So who is this ace from NCS? And do they have anybody other then him?
tinyhartley20
The ace pitcher (Cody Hartley) for NCS just happens to be my brother...and he is that good. He locked down the defending state champion Summertown. Be prepared to be shut down when he steps on the mound!!!!! GO NCS EAGLES!!!!! And giving up three runs isn't hardly shutting them down
the8thinningrally
From seeing and looking around on the board i've not seen much about Hancock County nor Harriman, not seen either play but heard Hancock has the bats, they've put up quite a few runs this year. Heard a stout defense and pitching rotation is rolling in from Harriman.
