PHargis
Are there any score available? Someone usually posts the scores but Cascade is usually later. All maybe a day later. 36, you have three teams playing so your team is not losing any time. hope you have three assts there or someone to fill in. You have locked in your Freshman team by them playing in this tournament. hope you didn't lose anyone.

basketballfan2003
You people are so spoiled getting scores from camp.No other camp posts all their scores like Shelbyville usually does.LOL. I can tell that no scores have been kept there this week because it was usually coach or myself posting them.

That maybe so, but how are the Upper Cumberland teams doing: RBS,LA,Clark Range and the others?

They divide it up in Upper Cumberland and seemed to communicate better now, Likely cell phones make it much easier. We appreciate the help in getting scores. The two most prominent camps in the state have done a good job in the past, hope a few coaching changes don't make things fall apart. After all its not like coaches haven't delegated things in the past. We appreciate what you can do. Hope there is not something going on with the Camp too. From the outside, it makes one wonder if things are not falling aparet and wonder if there are any intentions to discontinue the camp. If so, someone else needs to pick it up, add stability, and make some money for their school. it is a camp, thisw time of the year that Shelbyville filled a void. Hope the attitude of spoiled fans is not prevelant. The spoiled fans you are talking about are the ones likely that are paying the bills in sending the schools there.Upper Cumberland and others make the attempt, and 5 locations is an effort but it can be and has been done as an accomadation. Maybe taking it away from the Coaches and giving it to a civic group to take care of the details would be the best. Columbia Rotary does that but maybe Shelbyville handles the dispursement of funds differently. This year, it is an AD responsibility or the Principal. CoachT offered his help. Attending schools fans have maore than a sight interest.
etownsparky
This is the first year the Elizabethton Lady Cyclones participated in the camp. Although Burkey resigned recently, the camp seemed to run very smoothly. I was impressed with how all the games were kept on schedule. The staff appeared to be mostly competent except for some of the officials the last 2 days (the 1st 2 days they were provided by the officials' camp being conducted concurrently with the team camp). We had a couple of doozies (had TSSAA patches but looked more like Rec League cronies trying to pocket a few bucks). I suppose that is typical of any camp though. Anyways, the Lady Cyclones looked pretty good, especially since several key players just finished the softball season. They recorded a 10-0 record during the camp and beat some decent teams along the way. Next week should be interesting as the Lady Cyclones travel to MTSU for another camp. PHargis
If I'm not mixed up, in the stands watching new officials officiate were three evaluators busy watching and taking notes for a later meeting. Likly not one of the best officiated camps but would hate to go before the evaluators after the session. Welcome to Camp Time in Middle Tennessee. Shelbyville is very professional and its a grind um out camp.
jimbo44
My question remains unansward. How are the Upper Cumberland teams doing? I understand about the officals. They are required to be evaluated every two years. Some places annualy. The evaluations are a great start for new kids just getting in to it, and an opportunity for the vets of the game to polish their skills.
