One of my former colleagues said the local leaders have changed their mind on this dumb idea; however, that does not explain why Coach Smith was told he could not coach his daughter and Coach Morris was told he could not coach his grand sons? Maybe that was just rumors too?

One rule this lady did get through was a head coach could not be the head coach of more than one sport. That's pretty stupid also. What does it matter if Carlos coaches basketball in the winter and softball in the spring. Makes absolutely no sense. If the family rule did pass, there would have to have been a whole coaching turn around at Huntland. Robertson could no longer coach any male sports since his son plays all three. The head boys basketball coach could no longer coach basketball or be moved to head position in football because his son plays those two sports. His son may play baseball also. This lady needs to go with the board that brought her in.

Look at all the stupid things this woman (superintendent) has proposed since leaving WC to take over at FC:

1. She passed a rule that family members can't work together in the same school.

2. She passed a rule that family members could not coach together.

3. She attempted to limit practice to under two hours per day.

4. She took away 4th block athletics.

5. She abolished the position of Athletic Director and fired the State Hall of Fame AD, Morris Rogers.

6. She forced out several quality coaches who refused to coach under her leadership.

7. She passed a rule that coaches can only coach one sport.

8. She attempted to pass a rule that coaches can't coach family members.

9. She passed a rule that athletic teams can't leave school before 3:00 PM without permission from the director's office and the school board.

10. She cut coaching supplements.

Why would any coach want to move into FC to work as a coach? Thank God she is not in Williamson County any more.

FBCoach,

#1 has been a rule in Hamilton County for years. The superentendant and school board had to sign off on the current principal taking over at a 3A/6A school because his wife worked there and had been there for over 20 years, he would be her direct supervisor.
