Any local teams look good at camp?

 

How is Lenoir City looking?

 

Heritage, Lenoir City, and Webb have had camps, who are the best teams?

Maryville looked tough at the Tennessee Tech camp. Not overwhelming height but good physical post play, and the girls could make the moves in the paint, they didn't just roughhouse. Also good ball movement and shooters.

How did Bearden look in Lenoir City and @ Webb camp. I heard they have some impressive Freshman that get after it.

With the KING back at the helm of Bearden, they can't be anything but good.

Bearden did not look good. Probably lowest level of talent at Bearden in 8 years.

 

Powell looked down playing a lot of young players. Webb and Farragut both looked good.

The point guard is a really good player and did a lot of good stuff for them.

Yeah I figured she would do well but I also heard her backup is a Freshman that plays defense and can score also. It might help to play them together based upon your posts earlier.

I watched a couple Lenoir City games and they seemed good...shot a lot of 3's.

Oak Ridge looked athletic...lots of pressing and fouls

 

Bearden seems down. Carter appeared to have a solid player not a lot of structure.

Karns is still young but seem better.

 

anyone seen West, Catholic,Fulton, or Halls?

lenoir city does rely on three. powell lost 4 seniors and will be young. fulton has both BRES back. william blount and maryville looked good. so did webb and farragut. oak ridge small and quick. carter has a couple of good looking girls, good shooters. halls lost both 3 point shooters to graduation but still has potential, only one senior.

Catholic went to Tennessee Tech's camp last week. Started slow but got better as the week went on. Size still an issue for the Lady Irish but their guard play will be the strength of the team. They will play at Shelbyville's team camp.

My high school team played Lenior City, however we did beat them by 2. they were pretty good. The point guard was amazing, but really every player that came off the bench did well.
