I hear OR has a strong freshman class with a red head that is very good. I tried to make their game Saturday in Chattanooga but wasn't able to. I think the ranking posted is pretty accurate.

OR has a BIG game tonight against Farragut! Home opener.

Thanks G, and to respond to the other post (which I know a lot of coaches are on here or fans, but I try to be honest and open) We are very young, but those girls can play. The red head you are referring to is very good and will make an impact, but please remember these girls are freshman and they are basically making a jump from u-14 to u 18 competition. I'm just glad the season is finally here after a looooooooong summer. Good luck to all!!!

 

P.S. I just realized I'm not sure how I am going to survive not coaching during the spring. G, we should totally coach a club team together. MWAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

      One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.

      If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.

      I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
