Yea, them Copper Basin Cougars is 1A, and they'r lookin' tough this year. Ain't gittin' no R-E-S-P-E-C-T from them 1A fellers, yet.

 

As for 2A, the way them fellers in Nashvegas figger it, ain't but 14 out and 24 in.

 

Just gotta keep playin' one game at a time and see what happens when the weather cools off a bit.

This off thread, 'cause their 1A. But, they're senior heavy, play compete well, and from a mountain. Their only test will be their final game against Boyd. They'll be in the playoffs and might suprise some people.

I didn't like this part of the reclassification. They did A, AA and AAA the same across the board in football and basketball but the problem is several Class A schools don't have football. That put less in A and you have a small amount of schools. They wanted to build rivalries, renew rivalries ($$$ related) but still should have taken all the football programs and divided by 3, not all schools.
